Jana Kramer is a country singer, songwriter and actor who rose to stardom on television when she was chosen to play Alex in One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. The first three albums she released as a country singer included in episodes of the show that helped her debut album, titled "Eponymous," to make it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One from 2015 reached 10th place. Over the past decade, she appeared as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and a number of television programs. The singer also released several singles, but they were not albums. Voices, a self-doubting album released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native, who grew up by country music. Though she had a recording and acting career but her first screen appearance was in the horror independent movie Dead/Undead (2002) while still in high school. Her appearances were in guest spots on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer appeared on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. In 2009, she played the role of Alex Dupre. Her appearance on the show until 2012, when the series was cancelled. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract for a record label Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I I Won't Let You Go" in an episode. By the middle of 2012, the song was released on her debut full-length album Jana Kramer. The track was featured in Billboard's Top Country Albums chart in the Top Five. Then she concentrated her acting career around performing in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 as well as Country Crush 2016, which attracted her followers directly. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy as well as the duo track that Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed in the album helped to make it third place in the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. Starting in September 2016, she spent two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth-place finish. She also scored an adult contemporary hit with the song Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
