Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd felt more confident following this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. Then, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen as she beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's record as an amateur was marred. Ladd rebounded from her loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in one round with a TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her via the third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Her UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by pounding and grounding her before prevailing by TKO in the second round. Ladd remained in the lead and picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd defeated Evinger during the first round. She also received her a night's performance bonus. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle with the fighters was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round of UFC on ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
