eryl Rothery, a Canadian actress, who made her name famous by playing Janet Fraiser on Stargate SG-1. Other memorable TV role includes the role of Lt. Maggie Weston in Exosquad M.O.M. in Martin Mystery Carol Bloom in Kyle XY Grace Sherman in Cedar Cove and J.L. as J.L. The Good Doctor. She has appeared in movies such as Magic in the Water Whisper as well as What an Idiot. Rothery was raised in British Columbia and always wanted to perform. When she was 13 years old she was acting on stage as a vocalist as part of Bye Bye Birdie. She was awarded the Most Outstanding Performance Award for her performance as a dancer in Annie Get Your Gun, the production produced by her theatre company.
